Going on Vacation!!!!

Ok so tomorrow morning we are leaving on a 3 week vacation. I am sooooo excited!!! 3 weeks in a tent!!!! Whoot!! We are going to be caravanning to PG with my sister and her family and spending the night at the same hotel and then we are going to part ways. We are heading to Edmonton and they are heading to Kamloops. Camping in Edmonton from the night of the 18th until the morning of the 24th. So excited. I'm going to visit with my Grandpa and Grandpa and then it's on to spending a few days in the mall. (My hubby's idea) On the 24th we are going to Red Deer for Friendships For Life Summer Camp Conference 2009!!! lol. It's going to ROCK!!!! John and Lisa Bevere are the guest speakers again this year and I'm looking forward to camping with old friends making new ones and SEEING MY BROTHER, sis-in-law, my niece and meeting my new niece for the first time. I can't wait!!! After that it's one night only in Calgary and then hopefully onto the Okanogan. Where we will be camping out in my Aunt's front yard. Whoot! Anyhow I just thought I would let everyone know that I'll be out of town so that's why my blog won't be updated. But look for an update after August 6th. And hopefully some pics too!! Logie's birthday is on Saturday. He will be turning 2! I can't believe it. Time went by soooo fast. I still have to plan a party for him but it won't be until next week because his daddy is working on Saturday! I've been wanting to get Logan a sand and water table for his birthday and when I was looking through the fliers I saw one in Canadian Tire that just happened to be on sale for the same price ammount that we alotted to spend on Logie's gift. So we went into Terrace today to pick it up. It's soooo cool. I set it up in the living room but I can't wait to take it outside and put sand and water in it. There's a picture below of the one we got him.

Sorry I've been a bit of a blog slacker this past few weeks. We had a really bad thing happen on our street on Wednesday night. It has been pretty stressful to deal with. Two houses across the street burnt down that night. One was completely gone in 10 minutes with just a some charred 2X4's left standing. The other one still has pretty much the whole outside shell of the house standing but everything inside was gone. And the second was a 2-story house. It was a very traumatic night. Thank the Lord no one was hurt. No one was home in the first house and the people got out in lots of time in the second house. The fmaily in the house where the fire started is a single mom with 2 little girls. Age 2 and 4. They lost their dog in the fire. The second family is a Couple with 2 little boys age 3 and 5. We all have reached out that helped in every way we can. That night I brought them into my house so that they could use my phone and not have to let the kids see the house burning. We have all given several statements to the RCMP. I don't really know where I'm going with this post but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I will be back to normal in about another week are so. I'm still all shaken up over it. The single mom was also a friend of mine. So please remember to keep these families in your prayers. They are doing everything they can now to pick up the pieces and carry on but it's still a stuggle. Especially with the couple as they owned their house and now have to deal with all the insurace company and going through the charred runins of what used to be their home. It's a very emotionall time for them.

This is our new puppy. We got him today. Thanks soooo much Mr. and Mrs. Norman and to you Christy for telling us about him!!! :)
He is such a little sweetie. Jeffery was soooo surprised he was crying off and on for about an hour. HAPPY TEARS!! I almost cried I was so happy that he was happy. Skittles (the new puppy) ran right up to him wagging his tail and wanting to play. When Jeffery sat on the floor he climbed right into his lap. Jeffery was so happy. I'm so glad they bonded so strongly right away!!!! Oh I'm going to go now before I get all emotional. Just to let you all know. WE LOVE the new little guy!!!! Thank you Lord for blessing us with him!!!!!!

This post isn't really about anything. I'm just really bored and I feel like updating!!

So spring is here and summer is fast coming. Whoot. Can't wait. We are going to have a great summer again this year. First in June we are having some friends from down south come a visit for a few days. And then Logie is going to be turning 2. We are planning on going camping lots too this summer after school lets out. Sooooo excited about that. And in July we are going on a 3 week vacation again this summer but instead of hoteling it we are going to be camping the whole time. TRIPLE WHOOT!!! We don't know 100% sure of exactly where we are going and when but we do know we are going to spend a few days in Edmonton and then go to Red Deer for the annuel Friendships For Life Summer Camp!! I'm so excited. We went last year and it was AWESOME!!!! John and Lisa Bevere are the speakers again this year so we are really looking forward to that. And I get to meet my niece Karys who was born in January!! I can't wait. We also get to eat at our fav restuaunt - Montana's!! lol I know it's pretty sad when one of the highlights is eating out!! lol.

On a different note....
We are getting a new puppy on Saturday. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I believe that this is a blessing from God. Truly. It's hard to explain..... but for about 2-3 years I've really been wanting another dog but not rushing into anything. I've seen lots of puppies that I wanted but never really was too intrested in. Mainly because puppies are very expensive to buy and ones from the pound tend to be problem dogs that need ALOT of discipline. But the oppritunity presented itself for us to get a free puppy. It felt right and we said we would take the puppy. This morning we got our property taxes bill and when Scott (my awesome hubby who puts money away every month in a seprate account to pay the taxes) paid the taxes we had quite a large sum of money left over. Enough to buy a new kennel and get the puppy his shots!!! How awesome is that!!!! So my patience and waiting until God's timing paid off!! Literally!!!! lol. Anyway I am really happy. We haven't told Jeffery yet though. He won't know until we pick up the little guy. We want to surprise him! He's going to be soooo excited. So yea I am really looking forward to Saturday!!!!

Oh and the potty training is at a standstill. But we are still plugging ahead. Logie likes sitting on the potty but he still has no idea what he's supposed to do.Turthfully he has no clue about it at all. But I want him to clue so he lives his life in pull-ups and sits on the toilet about once every hour give or take a few mintues!! lol.

On another note. DON'T WATCH TWISTER WHILE PLANNING A CAMPING TRIP TO THE PRAIRIES!!

my house is messy because my children play.
my dishes are dirty because I cook and feed them.
my floor is unswept because we tracked dirt in from outside.
my grass is not lush and green but rather trampled by little feet.
my patio is not swept to perfecto but rather covered in sidewalk chalk.
my yard is full of children's toys instead of beautiful gardens and walkways.
my laundry is dirty because my kids change from school clothes into play clothes everyday.
my house and yard my be untidy at times but it's more important for them to be a home!

lol Just a little something I made up for all those mom's out there that aren't supermoms. I know some are but alas I am not. lol. God bless all you mom's today and each and every single day.

An Update!!

Ok so I've been a HUGE blog slacker lately. I'm sorry. lol.
I'm not all to sure what I'm supposed to update about. I have a bunch of thoughts and such floating around my brain but nothing seems to want to come out the end of my fingers. I know I'm weird. lol.

I do have one thing I need to say though. A HUGE THANK YOU to Ruth for throwing me a birthday party for tunring 30! You rock girlie pop!!! And to everyone who came!! It meant alot to me. You have no idea. :)

Tonight Jeffery went to his first ever sleep over that wasn't at a relatives house.
He was soooo excited. And sees as it's 12:43am and he's not home I guess it's going well and he is doing ok. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Wowsers. lol
Oh and on a very awesome plus side.... Jeffery started ritolin a few weeks ago and I was really apprehensive about it. But it has doen wonders for him. MAJOR inprovment. I was so happy. And of course I thanked God. I pray every morning that his medicine doesn't do anything other then what it's supposed to do. And it hasn't. He has had no bad side affects what so ever. Which totally rocks.

I am going to start potty training Logie soon. I'm a bit nervous and it took 3 years to train Jeffery!! Oy!!

Anyhow I don't really know what else to say so that is all I'm going to say for now. Nighty night all and blessings to you. I will update more often I think now that spring/summer is here and I have more things to say. Oh yeah like how much the weather has rocked lately. 3 backyard fires and 2 bbq's already!! Whoot. Love it!!!!

Ok so I am posting yet another updated Christmas list. I have no idea why. I just don't really have anything else to post and since I've been doing alot of Christmas stuff I would let everyone know what I have done and haven't done.

1. Christmas shopping. completed

2. Wrap the gifts. 99.99% Completed

3. Put up the tree and decorate the house and the yard. Completed

4. Get photos done. Completed

5. Do Christmas baking. 99% Completed

6. Plan to attend the Eurocan Family Christmas Party on Nov. 30. 2pm (First Day of Advent) Completed

7. Attend the Inter-church Christmas Carol sing on Dec. 21. (The date got changed!)

8. Plan out where, what, when during the season.... (Scott works day shift on Dec. which means celebrating with his family on a different day.) Completed

9. Build the traditonal every-year gingerbread house with Jeffery. Completed

10. Fill out my Christmas cards and mail them. Completed

11. Plan out our open house party we are having on Dec. 19. completed

It looks like we are going to be celebrating with my family on Dec. 26. As that is the only time when we can all be there. And we are going to be celebrating with Scott's family on Dec 21 as that is the only time we can all be there. And we are hoping to attend the Alliace Church Christmas eve service. :) And our open house is going to be on Dec. 19!!!

In October we got a phone call from Scott's Grandma saying that his grandpa was really sick with cancer and he was given about 6 months to live. We told her to let us know if things got worse and we would come out there. Today we went to my inlaws house to decorate their Christmas tree and my sis-in-law Nicole wanted to phone Grandpa Jack and see how he was doing. Much to our disappointment we found out that he had passed away a month ago today. My in-laws and my husband are not dealing too well with the news. They are all taking it hard. So is my son Jeffery who had a chance to bond with his great-grandpa Jack this summer. He cried for an hour and ended up crying himself to sleep. My husband has taken some time off work. Which will be good for him. Also there is some anger developing between people because they did not let us know sooner as we would have gone out to the funeral. (In Calgary) So please pray for them. Thank you all so much. Blessings to all of you!

Sorry I haven't posted any trip pictures yet. I've been busy. I did post them on my facebook though. But soon I will be posting some on here. I had some friends from out of town come and stay with us for a few days. That was a blast. But I forgot to take any pics at all while they were here. The weather has been nice off and on so when the weather is nice I have been enjoying it. On Monday we had a family birthday party for my son Jeffery and my niece Nathania. They both had birthdays while all the family memebers were here and they scattered around on summer vacations. It was alot of fun. We had a good time. The kids had fun. I still can't believe that Jeffery is 7 now. He will be starting grade 2 in a few weeks. Wow. I'm am having one of those days where I just can't believe how much time has gone by in what feels like a short time. Anyway I am needing to get some dishes done before going to bed. August 1st was Jeffery's 7th birthday. wow. I can't believe he is 7 already. Time goes by so quickly. We were travelling home on his birthday. So the next day I made him his favourite pasta dish and we had chocolate cake for dessert. We will be having a party for him later in the month. :) God bless you sooo much Jeffery. Bears.... Ugh!!!!!

Ok so this is a little rant about how annoyed I am with the bears. Last year we had a huge bear problem on our street. As in they were here about 1-4 times a week. And there was always garbage everywhere. They started coming around mid-May and the last one was around the beginning of November. Well this year I thought things were going pretty good. July 2 no bears as of yet this year. But then yesterday - July 3 - we had a bear on our street 3 TIMES in one day!! Jeffery had just asked me a few minutes before if he could go outside and play and I said no everything is still too wet from the rain. And then a few minutes later I went to check the mail at 4 in the afternoon and my garbage was all over my front step and a bag of dirty diapers was dragged half way down my driveway. Some what confused for about a few seconds. I was thinking.. this must have just happened because I was out this morning and everything was fine. And then I thought what if the bear was just hear and is still around. So I look up from the mess and there he is right across the street. I was feaking out. But somehow I managed to stay kinda calm. Which is weird for me when it comes to bears. And some guy was walking out of my next door neighbours house and I was like oh hey there's a bear right there. I still can't believe how calm I was. I was just standing there watching this bear. But inside I was almost panicing. Jeffery kept trying to get past me because he wanted a better look. I wouldn't let him. Until the bear went down the street a bit then I let him poke his head out the door and look. This all happened in a matter of mere minutes. A friend who lives just up the street had the bear walk through her carport while she had the front door open and was getting ready to take her kids to the car. Thankfully they were all ok. I called the cops and they drove around. I don't know if that did any good. Later that same night we had some friends over and as they were leaving the front door to go to there car that was parked across the street another car came by and told us to be careful because there was a bear right up the street. And then that car stopped and was watching the bear for awhile. But there was still no garbage on the street. This morning my next door neightbour was cleaning up some garbage that was all over her lawn. So that means the there was a bear on our street in total of three times yesterday. And during the day too. And they aren't afraid of anything. It used to be they only came around at night and would run away when they heard or saw a car. Now they aren't even afraid of cars. FREAKY!! Thank you God for your protection over us.

Hoildays! Sweet, Sweet Vacation!!!

Ok so on the morning of July 14th we are going on our first offical family vacation and my first long road trip in 7 years. I am sooooo excited. Scott has 20 days off work. That's a long time. We are planning on going to Edmonton first to visit my grandpa and other family and friends and to hit WestEd Mall. I can't wait to take the kids to Galaxyland and the wave pool. After a few days there we are going to be in Red Deer from July 18-20 for Family Camp at my bro's church. The speakers are John and Lisa Bevere. Again so stoked. And I also get to see my brother I haven't seen in 3 years and his family. I have only seen my niece Angelica once and that was for 45 minutes in an Edmonton Bus Depot three years ago. So I'm not even counting that. I also get to see alot of good friends in Red Deer. Some I haven't seen in 7 years. After we leave Red Deer we aren't really on a schedule. We are planning on going to Calgary to see Scott's grandpa and then to drive to Standard, AB where Scott spent the first 7 years of his life. He wants to show Jeffery where daddy "grew up". After that we have no idea what we are doing. Maybe going in a circle and driving back into BC through the Okanogan and then coming back up. Or we might even drop into Vancouver and up. We shall see. I'm just so excited. I know more then anything that this trip is a blessing from God. It's a miracle for Scott to get even one tour off from work never mind two right in the middle of the preferred time period. He's only been there for 1.5 years so he has no singority. And to have the money in the bank to do this. Totally God. So yeah it's going to be great. We are caravaning with my parents too for the first part of the trip so that's even more exciting. WHOO HOO! Ok I'm going to go to bed now. I just thought I would post about my excitement. I am busting at the seems. Oh and we are going to be staying in hotels too. So loving it. Usually whenever I went on a family vacation I stayed with family. Which is cool but cramped. And now I don't have to sleep in the floor. Double yeah. Ok anyway I'm off to bed. God bless you all.

Oh when Logan had his one year checkup he weighed 22.8 pounds and was 31 inches long. He's in the 75th percentile for height and weight. And he's very healthy. I just can't believe how big he has gotten so fast. nighty night!!

I was in the hopital in labour. Which lasted for 42.5 hours. I just thought I would share that.
At 9am this morning (June 18) my mind clicked to what I was doing a year ago. I had a few contractions and looked at the clock and when it switched to 9am I started timing them. And so it's almost my Logie-pogies first birthday. WOW! He will be one on Friday. Crazyness!!

I'm am so loving the sunshine and the warm weather. My hubby bought me some garden tools for Mother's Day and I have spent the last 2 days outside working in the garden. My mom came over today and helped me alot. I admit I am clueless as to what I'm supposed to do in a garden. And my mom also mowed our front lawn for us. We still don't have our own lawn mower. We want to get one from Wal*mart but everytime we go they don't have the one we want. So we are still shopping around. The other day was Logan's first time playing outside. I had his playard out there and he had fun in the sun. I didn't keep him out too long though!!! :)I will post some pics soon. They are still on my camera! Ok so I haven't updated in awhile. My bad. I've been pretty busy. The kids are keeping me busy plus I'm involved in some church things and what not. Last weekend I threw my mom a really nice surprise party. It was so fun. I've never thrown a party for anyone before except for my hubby and kids. I had a blast buying the pretty colours of paper plates and cups and decorations. I had fun putting the decorations up too. I would love to throw more parties for people. And then Jeffery had a sleepover. His cousin spent the night. They watched Alvin and The Chipmunks and ate popcorn then went to bed. They were sooo cute. The cot we bought from Starla has come in handy for such things. The next morning the boys were pretending it was a boat. Of course it also happened to be at 7:05am. But at least they were being good. Logan is over 10 months old now. I have no idea how much he weighs but 2 months ago it was just over 21 pounds. He's much bigger since then. He has 6 teeth now and he's getting ready to get a couple of more on the bottom. He's slowly stating to cruise the coffee table and he stands by himself for up to 4 seconds at a time. But mostly he likes to crawl around and try and get the remotes for the tv and vcr. His favourite show is Blue's Clues. He absolutely loves it. He smiles and laughs through the whole show. Today the carnival was in town. I took Jeffery while my mom came over and watched Logan for me. Scott came over and joined as after he got off work. We had soooo much fun. Rides, games, mini-donuts, rides, and cotton candy, and more rides. We ran into my brother and sis-in-law and my nephew while we were there. So we went on a bunch of rides with them. I'm not sure who had more fun. The adults or the kidos. I do know that Scott went on alot of spinny rides and he turned a pale shade of green. It was nasty but he didn't get sick. Thank goodness. Anyway I'm going to get to bed now. It was a long but fun day. I would post some pics but my blog is being dumb still and they aren't showing up. So hopefully soon I can post some updated pics of my kidos. God bless you all!!!

Ok so my last post was kinda depressing. I'm still stuggling with it but I'm doing much better now. Thanks for your prayers. So my little baby is not so little anymore. He is 9 months old now and crawling everywhere and pulling himself up on the coffee table. He's such an adorable little cutie. I can't get enough of him. Jeffery is such an awesome big brother. I'm glad they love each other. I just can't believe how fast the time has gone. It doesn't feel like it's been 9 months since I had him. He's has gotten so big so fast. Next thing I know he will be up and walking. Yikes. lol. I tried posting some pics but they aren't showing up!!!

Wow. I have been reading other peoples blogs and things on facebook. Seems Satan has been attacking alot of people in alot of different ways including myself. But instead of getting depressed out all the things running through my head God has put some people on my heart and I have been praying for them. It breaks my heart to see so many people (especially the ones who I consider good friends) go through so many battles. I have spent a good deal of time the last few days just pondering everything and everyone around me. I have no idea where this post is going I'm just typing like crazy to get this out of my head. lol. So I hope that if I spill anything yucky that it doesn't bother anyone. I am personally stuggling with lonliness. I know that God is with me and that He will never leave me and God has blessed me with 2 beautiful children that fill my days with laughter. And a wonderful caring husband. But sometimes I feel like somethings lacking. I don't have any close friendships. I mean I know alot of people and they are nice people and I know that I'm loved. I'm not in a "nobody-likes-me-everyone-hates-me" mood. I know people like me. I can go anywhere and run into people I know and have pleasent conversations. But I don't have any CLOSE intimate friendships. A person once asked my who I spend my time with. And I anwsered my family. That includes my extended family. I thank God everyday for them. I pray with them, worship with them, chat with them, visit with them, watch our children grow up together, and cry with them. God has not put any close "friends" in my life but I have a close relationship with my mom, sister, and sister-in-law, and my seregate family member Brenda. I realize everyday the blessings that God has given me and the people that he has put in my life. But sometimes I wish for something more. Is that wrong?? Am I selfish?? I try not to be. I know the Bible says to have friends and person must show themselves to be friendly and I feel like I have lived up to this. (If anyone knows otherwise let me know so that I can stop doing the things that drive people away :)!!! And it seems like this has been my case my whole life. When I was a teen in youth group I knew alot of people and NEVER missed a youth meeting yet everyone said I wasn't a part of the core youth group. Which hurt because I had been apart of that youth group for 11 years. From the time I was 11-22. Then in Bible school I was constently being told by my leader that I shut myself out. I felt like crap because I felt like everyone was shuting me out and I tried so hard to fit in. I have loved people, been kind to people, prayed for people, cried with them, laughed with them, shared things with them, and been a friend to them when noone else was, and yet in the end I am still alone. I have no girlfriends I can just call up and chitchat with. Or go shopping with. Or walking with. I never had any close friends with me when my children where born and very few people came to see me when my second son was born. God bless those who did. It filled me with joy when you stopped by. I have no godparents for my children. I thought I did once but the people don't even remember that they are. Why all the lonliness?? Is this the path that God has for me?? Am I meant to be someone who is just friends with a person for a time and when that time passes for them I am alone again. Am I really just a boomerang that people can dump their crap on and then leave me to let it bounce off of?? Who am I supposed to dump my crap on??? Yet with all these questions and most I don't know the anwsers too. I know that anwsers to some. God is my upmost. And despite how alone I feel I know that He is there. NO MATTER WHAT!!!! And even though my family is all I'm close too I thank God everyday that He gave them to me. Some people don't even have any families at all. I am grateful for what I have. I am a blessed woman and I am truely joyous even to the depths of my soul. My spirit rejoices in God and the wonderful things He has done. This post was kinda depressing but it wasn't meant to be. I just need to vent what I have been going through the last several days. My heart is with you all and I will continue to pray for you. I realize that others go through worse things then this everyday. :)

8 Months!!!!!

So my little Logie Pogie is 8 months old now. He is growing so fast I can't believe it. He has learned to do some many things just in the last few days. He has been crawling for a long time but he has been doing an inchworm/marine crawl. Today for the first time he got up on his hands and knees and crawled around. And he's starting to pull himself up on things without putting support on his stomach. He was weighed on Tuesday and he now weighs 20 pounds 7 ounces. We had to go to Terrace on Saturday to buy him a new carseat. We bought a three-in-one! That way he will have it for awhile. Anyhow it's late. Sorry this update is soooo short but I need to get some sleep. God bless you all!!!! :)

Just a quick post to brag about my little Logie getting his first tooth early Sunday afternoon. And to add to the excitement he got his second tooth later that evening. He did so good with teething. I didn't even know he was teething. No signs. Not like Jeffery with the diaper rashes that made me cry they looked so red and blistered and the red cheeks on his face and crying all the time. So different. So yeah he has teeth now. I'm so happy for my little guy! :)

Getting Into Trouble!

I can't believe how fast time flies!! Logan is now just over 7 months old. And crawling EVERYWHERE. He's actually been getting into trouble. He likes to crawl past his toys and pull the videos out of the shelf. And he likes to crawl to the back door and chew on the floor mats. Not good for him. The above pic is him crawling under the cabinet that I keep all Jeffery's colouring stuff and games in. He was trying to pull out some papers that where sticking out from the corner of the drawer. What a little monkey he is. He has grown alot in the last week and I have had to suddenly put away clothes that were fitting him 2 days before. I want to get him weighed. When he was 6 months he weighed almost 17 pounds. So I'm curious to know. Jeffery is growing too. All the new school clothes we got him a few months ago are starting to get too small. I'm just in awe of how quickly time goes by. And I thank God everyday for my 2 beautiful blessings and I try to get the most out of everyday that I can.

Weight Watchers!!

On Thursday I joined Weight Watchers. I have been talking about doing it for awhile and I looked into it for months. So after months of talk I finally had a chance to join. So I did. I have heard alot of good things about it. I know a lady who lost 120 pounds in just over a year by doing it. I'm very excited about it. I did my first full day today. (being Friday) It's so easy to stick too. I went out and bought myself some yummy healthy food. I'm so hooked on Lean Cuisine! They have the points value marked right on the package. And they are so good. One pack is enough for me. I thought I was still going to be hungry after but surprisingly I wasn't. I also bought and tried the Thinsations cookie. Only 100 calories per pack. They are really good and only 2 or 3 points per pack depending on the flavor. So I'm happy. Plus Weight Watchers has some Chocolate Carmel Snack bars that are ssssssoooooooo GOOOOOD! They sell them at the meetings. I feel better already too. Knowing that I'm not hungry but not stuffed full either. I can't wait to start losing the weight. I also bought a 30 minute workout dvd too and I will probably start that on Monday. I've wanted to start is already but the last 2 days and next 2 days are going to be busy. We are going sledding for my niece's birthday party tomorrow. So excited. Anyhow it's late and I still have 2 cakes to decorate and then I have to get to bed. Logan LOVES to jump and bounce. So we got him a jolly jumper. I had one of the ones that clamps over a door frame for Jeffery (someone gave it to me). I put Jeffery in it once and only once. It fell. So I never put him in it again. And being a single mom at the time I couldn't afford to buy a new one. Well... after Logan was showing such a strong love for bounce (and the doc telling us we should) we got A BRAND NEW JOLLY JUMPER!! I was soo excited. Its the kind that hangs from a frame. So cool. Logan loves it. He spends up to an hour at a time in it. And he's only been in it a few times. I'm so glad we bought it for him. It bring him so much joy. :)

My kids both LOVE their bath time. Jeffery has always loved water and now so does Logan. I'm so happy that they do. When I was a kid growing up you COULDN'T keep me away from water. If we were anywhere near any kind of water I was palying in it. Swimming in it. etc... No matter what I was wearing. I was in the water. Which of course meant LOTS of soaking wet jeans after picnics by the creek. And now BOTH my babies LOVE it too. Yeah! So hear are 2 picture of them sitting in the tub. Aren't they cute?? I think so. :)

Ok so here is a small update. I will do a picture post soon. I've been crazy busy with hoildays and stuff and tomorrow (today)lol is my hubby's birthday. So I spent the day cleaning an de-Christmasing my house. Then Scott comes home and tells me he wanted the tree up for his birthday. And he was serious. But he got over it and I didn't have to redecorate. Thank goodness. The tree was still up at this point but most of the decorations were off. EVERY year he always makes sure that I have the tree down for his birthday. He doesn't like it up that way it separates Christmas from birthday. Crazy guy. Why did he change his mind? Even he doesn't know!!! lol.
I guess I don't put much pics on here because they are all on my facebook page. I really should do an pic post. Soon!!! ok I promise. :)

New Year's eve I spent the night at my parents house. It was so nice and very relaxing too. My mom invited the kids and I to spend the night since Scott was working night shift (overtime) and I didn't have anything else to do. So I went over there. They had afew other people over too and my sis showed up after she got her kids to bed. Her hubby styaed home with them. I put Logan to bed at 9pm and Jeffery to bed at 9:30pm. It was the first time since he was 1 1/2 that he's been asleep before midnight on New Year's Eve. So that was good. We had lots of yummy snacks to eat and we watched a movie. It's called THE CHRISTMAS CHILD!!! Soooo good. The story is by Max Lucado and Steven Curtis Chapman is one of the actors in it. I cried!! Then we said happy new year and the other people left at 12:30am and I helped my parents clean up and wasn't in bed until 4:30am. I was sooooo tired. I spent the entire next day at my folks place. We went to my sister's house for a big ham dinner. YUMMY! Scott showed up there and we went home from there. I was so tired . I pretty much spent most of January 2nd in bed!! It was sooo good to sleep. But it was all good. I had a great night. And now all I have to do is figure out what to get my hubby for his birthday. I have NO IDEA!!!!! Have a good night everyone. Christmas time fun!!

So far Christmas has been awesome. On the 23rd we went to Scott's parents house at 9am and had Christmas with them. It was great. We got stockings and then we opened gifts all the while munching on goodies. Then at around 1pm we ate a huge turkey dinner. YUMMY!! I love turkey dinners!!! Then we visited for awhile. Logan and I had a nap on the couch for a bit too while we were there. We came home at around 4pm and then we got ready for our open house we had that night. It was good. Not too many people showed up (mostly family) but we all had a great time. I put out a huge spread and we fellowshipped all evening. That wound down at around 10pm. Then the kids went to bed. (they have been having alot of late nights because of the season) Scott and I got ready for the next day. Christmas eve. We stayed up late wrapping last minute gifts and getting the stockings ready. We broke all tradition and opened our stockings Christmas eve morning because Scott works day shift Christmas day and he leaves for work at 5:30am so we would have had to get up at 4am. No thanks. So we did it Christmas eve morning. It was fun. Then we just kinda lounged around all morning. Then I went to my work Christmas party. They take all the employees out for a Christmas eve lunch. It was nice. I had a good time. Scott stayed home with the kids! Then I got home and I had a short nap. Got up and nursed Logan and then Scott and I opened our gifts to each other and Jeffery and Logan got to open their gifts from other people! Then we delivered some Christmas goodies to 5 of our neighbours. They were blessed which is good. I've been asking God to help me find ways to minister to my neighbours so He gave me the idea to give them Christmas goodies. I bought some cute Christmas tins at the dollar store and filled them with homemade baking. After delivering those we went to church. The Full Gospel Church did a Christmas eve service. It was sooooo good. Then my parents and Scott's mom (his dad was really sick) came over and watched Jeffery and Logan open the rest of their gifts. Then Scott went to bed and the parents went home and Logan went to bed and Jeffery and I spent some time playing with his new presents and then we watched the last little bit of some Christmas specials on tv. After that he went to bed! And I'm on the comp updating my blog!! Tomorrow is another busy dad. We have a relaxing morning though. Scott will be at work so the kids and I will hang out here for awhile before going to my mom and dad's! At around 4:30pm we are all getting together over there for a huge turkey dinner. That's myself and my kids, both my parents, my sis and bro-in-law and their 3 kids and my bro and sis-in-law and their one kid. Scott will come over after work and then we are all going to do the rest of the presents. So I'm looking forward to tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Merry Christmas everyone. God bless you all!

Scott come home from work half an hour late this morning and then he barely made it up the street in the car. Our street hadn't been plowed since last night. The pics are taken after he shoveled his way up part of the street and into the driveway and a small narrow path so we could get our mail and so Jeffery could walk to school. Before he did the shoveling we were pretty much snowed in. The wind has caused the snow to drift in spots so it's over 5' deep in places and grass in some places. Very weird. But at least he made it home safe and Jeffery made it to school on time. We are warm and snuggled in our house with the furnace and eletric heaters on. Scott of course is bundled in bed sleeping soundly. He was so tired by the time he got in the house.

In our house Christmas is a big deal. I am a huge Christmas freak and so is my hubby! But we always make sure that the main focus of Christmas is because Jesus came as a little baby in human form to eventually die on the cross and to be our saviour. So we put up a tree and do all that fun stuff. Although I have NEVER told my kids that santa was real. We still put out milk and cookies and get their pics taken with santa at the mall and they get stockings with presents from "santa" but I've always told them that he is just pretend and we have Christmas because it's Jesus birthday. So as a constant reminder of that the domonating decoration in our house is our nativity scenes. We have four of them. We have a big light up one on the front lawn but I haven't taken pics of it yet! So here are some pics of our nativity sets. My fav is the fisher-price little people one.

Family Update!

Scott is doing good. He is keepign busy with work and family.

Jeffery is doing good in his school work but still stuggling with his behaviour towards other students. He's so smart though. He someimtes wins prizes for being the best in Math! He LOVES math. Crazy kid. And he loves going to school too. Double crazy.
But he's been sick the last few days. He came home from school on Wednesday afternoon and he was a bit warm and by 4pm his fever was up to 102F so I gave him some tylonal. By 6:30pm it was up to 103F. And so I gave him some Motrin at 7pm. That brought the fever down. And alot of prayer. We took him into emergancy at 8:30pm to get checked out and it turns out that its a viral thing so he didn't need medicine. So we took him home and gave him some water to drink (plenty of fluids) and put him to bed. We heard him coughing in his sleep but he seemed ok. At 2:30am he came down the stairs and he was crying because he puked in his bed. He was coughing so hard that he was puking.(by this time his fever was back up to 104F) So Scott cleaned it up while I brought him downstairs on the couch with a bucket and we watched a movie until 4am. And I had given him some more motrin and he slept ok after that. But he was crying because he knew he was going to miss pajama day at school. Which he did. I felt so bad. He was coughing and puking and crying because he couldn't go to school. It was kinda funny but I started crying because he looked so pathetic and I did feel bad for him.

Logan is doing good. He's growing by leaps and bounds. He's already 5 months old. I can't believe how fast time goes. He's rolling on over the floor now and sometimes he just gets up on all fours and then either his top or bottom will fall down. he kicks his legs so hard he looks like he's trying to ride a bike. It's so cute. And he loves to talk. He likes it when people talk on the phone. He laughs at them. I think he must wonder why the big people are talking into the black thing on the side of their head. He doesn't here the otehr person talking on the other end. He likes to blow raspberries too. He's so cute. He laughs so hard when he does it. And he's very, very tickleish!!! I love tickling him and making him laugh. He like his big brother too. Jeffery is really good with him and he plays with him down on the floor and gets him to laugh.

I'm doing great too. God blessed me with some money and a new job and I was able to buy myself some new clothes... FINALLY!! I had jeans that were 2 years old and I was still thinking of them as my "new" jeans. ANd 2 pairs of those had holes in them. So I was down to only 2 pairs of pants and now I got some new ones. I also got a much needed new winter coat. I love it it's sooooo warm. I also got my hair permed on Thursday afternoon and by 11pm my hair was almost streight again. I paid alot of money to get a spiral perm and by Friday morning it look like I had slept with braids and then taken them out. Mostly streight with a bit of kink to it. I was so upset. But there's nothing I can really do about it. At least now I can blame the frizz I already had on the perm. lol!!!! I am keeping busy being a wife and mommy and a little bit of a job and I am loving every minute of it. God has blessed me with a great family and I'm so thankful to Him for some many things!!!!

I GOT A JOB!!!!!

A few years ago I worked at a place called Klassik Home Fashions. We sell paint, carpet, lino, all kinds of flooring and wallpaper, blinds, countertops.. etc, etc...
I only worked there for 5 months and then I quit. I got married and I didn't need to work and then I had a baby... Well exactly 2 years after I quit (give or take a few days) they phoned me and wanted me to come back to work for them. I talked about it with my hubby and my family and my parents. And they all thought it was a good idea. I love my hubby he's the best. But they wanted me for 20 hours a week which is waaaayyyyy to much time to be away from my kids - especially a nursing baby. So I told them I wouldn't work for more then 10 hours a week and they said ok. So I started at the beginning of November and I only work 8-10 hours a week over a period of 2 days. Usually Mondays and and either Thursdays or Fridays. I love it. It feels so good to be back and doing the job I love and still get to be a nursing mom and being the one to raise my kids. I also have it so when I work the kids are either with Scott (daddy), my mom (nana), or my sister (Aunty Beka)!! So they are always with family. Which is good. I thank God so much everyday for all of His blessings. He is so good to us. I don't even want to think about where my family would be without Him!!!! He rocks!!

Last year Scott gave me some mini Christmas crackers in my stocking and they had plastic tree ornaments in them. So we opened them up to put the things on the tree and I made everyone where the funny hat!!! We also got this really cool train called a "Tree Train" and it's designed to go ON/IN the tree. I love it. It looks so cool and it blows realt smoke and makes noise and stuff!!!

Well we have been feeling very festive around here. Our Christmas tree has been up since November 11. It was all Scott's idea too. And of course being the Christmas fanatic that I am I wholeheartedly agreed!!! Jeffery had lots of fun and Logan loves starting at it. I'm going to need to buy him a playpen soon as he rolls all over the floor and as each day goes by he figures out how to roll a little closer to the tree. It took us 3 days to decorate our house. We did it when Scott was on his days off. Then the other day he put up our outdoor nativity scene. He also bought one of those inflateable polar bears from Wal*mart and that is in the front yard too. He plans to buy some outdoor lights for the front of the house. Our neighbours have a really nice light display too. Not too flashy. I like it. So our street is starting to look all Christmasy. I love it. I've even started doing some Christmas baking and some Christmas shopping. Jeffery loves to bake with me. Last weekend we made chocolate covered peanut butter balls. They are so good! We put them in the freezer. We are probably going to be making more and dipping them in white chocolate. We are also planning on making sugar cookies and fudge. He picked out some sprinkles and icing colours that he wants to decorate the cookies with. It's going to be a great Christmas season. I was really sick last year because I was pregnant so I'm making up for it this year. And the snow is so beautiful!! I love it. I hope it sticks around this time because I want to go walking in it and pull Logan in his sled. We have to get a bigger one for Jeffery though. Anyhow I need to put some pics on hear of the Christmas tree. :)

Here's the pics of my new furniture that I said I would post. I love it. It's so comfy. And looks good too. I love how God provides not only for our needs but also takes our likes and dislike into consideration. The dark brown drawer cabinet I got at Canadian Tire. I've wanted it for about a year and now I finally have it. It hold my phone books and Jeffery's colouring colouring stuff and his games. That way he doesn't have to go upstairs to the family room every time he wants to play a game or colour a picture. And it keeps my phone book and Sears catalogues from laying out everywhere!!

New Furniture!!!

I'm so happy!! God anwsered my prayer and provided us with a somewhat large sum of money so we went to Terrace on Saturday and bought BRAND NEW FURNITURE!!! The stuff we have right now is 4th time handed down. It is very old and falling apart. I'm still in awe about how God cares for His people so much that he even cares about things like furniture. We bought a green sofa sectional with a chaise lounge on the end. So it's the same size as having a couch, loveseat, and chair but it's all together and will fit so great in our living room. It's going to be delivered on Friday. I can't wait. I'm going to post some pics of it when it gets here. I love it. God is so awesome!!

4 Months Old!!

Wowsers. I can't belive that my little baby is already 4 months old. Time goes by wwwwaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too fast. It does not feel like 4 months have passed. Logan is getting so big. He is also big for his age so he seems even bigger. He's such an awesome baby too. I love playing with him because he smiles and laughs so much. He loves it when I pretend that I'm going to eat his tummy. Jeffery is such a great big brother. He likes to play with him and hold him. I'm so gald that my boys love each other so much. God has truely blessed me beyond words. I'm lovin' it!!!

Thanksgiving and baby dedication.

We had a great thanksgiving weekend. My grandparents from Edmonton showed up on the Thursday and surprised most of us. So that was awesome. My grandpa is 88 years old so it was nice for him to come out and see his great-grandkids. On the Saturday October 6 Logan was dedicated in church. yeah! I was so happy. He got prophecised over that he is like Samuel. Wow. I started crying. God is so awesome. It was also the same night that Jeffery took communion for the first time. On Sunday we went to church and then had a church banquet in the afternoon. We spent the evening visiting at my parents house with my grandparents. Jeffery just loved having them here. He was over at my mom's visiting with them everyday. He even went over one day and spent a few hours of just him with my grandpa. So that was nice. On Monday the actual day of thanksgiving. Me, Scott, Jeffery and Logan went over to my parents house for dinner. My cousin and cousin-in-law were there too. So we had a good visit. My sister and her family had other people over to their house and Lonny and his family were at his in-laws place. I was so stoked for turkey and I wasn't disappointed. Yahoo. Then my grandparents left on tuesday morning. It was a great weekend.

Fall, Fall, Fall and rain!!!!

Hello everyone. So fall has officially been here for awhile and it brought with it ALOT of rain. Not to mention all the fresh snow that is on the mountains!! So Jeffery started grade 1 in the beginning of September. He is loving it. Everyday he asks if there is school the next day. He counts down the days on the weekend until school starts again. He is doing very well with his letters and he absolutely LOVES math. Go figure! His ADHD has started to act up rally bad so we are believing God for him. And he has started to see a therapist at school that helps him with social skills and how to/not too use your anger and aggression. He is also going to start seeing the school counsellor soon too. So we are praying that these things will help. On a plus side he took his first communion in church on October 6. I was so proud of him. He is growing up so fast. He was also happy to see fall come not only because school started but also because hunting season started. He has been out a few times with my dad but has not got anything yet. So here's hoping.... He had also not only lost his 2 bottom teeth already, he also recently lost his 2 top teeth too. With about a week of each other. He lost one of his top teeth when him and a friend were playing boxing with some kids boxing gloves and his friend hit his face and knocked his already loose tooth out and he swallowed. He cried because he thought he wasn't going to get any money for it. But he did. So he now had $4 saved from losing teeth!
Logan is getting bigger and cuter everyday. He laughs and smiles at everyone and everything and he's been sleeping through the night for a few months already. I love it. He's starting to reach out and grab things and he holds little toys and rattles in his hands. He likes to grab at his receiving blankets and chew!! He's teething and has been for awhile so I hope that the teeth finally come through soon. I love dressing him up in his cute little outfits and taking him out. He's such a sweet and happy and contented baby. He hardly ever cries in church until this past weekend we had a guest speaker up and he preaches quite loud and he kept startling Logan and so the one night Logan just started screaming and it was echoing through the entire church building. I was at a loss as to what to do. He wouldn't nurse or take his soother and nothing else I could do worked so it was my sister who finally calmed him down. Poor little guy. But he was ok. The next day he went back to hardly making a noise. Ok so I have a few more posts to make so I'm ending this one. :)

Jeffery's Birthday parties!!

I did have 2 birthday parties for Jeffery this summer. One was on his actual birthday (August 1) and it was with family. The other was on August 22 and it was with all his friends. For the family party he wanted a Fantastic 4 theme and for his friends party he had an Army theme. But there aren't many party decorations that come in Army so he picked the stuff in different shades of green. I'm posting some pics. His favourite gift of all was his very own tackle box from my dad. He also got a new Batman backpack for school and a Sorry game which we play at least once a day sometimes more.

Hello everyone, Life has been great. Sorry I haven't updated my blog in awhile. I've been busy with 2 kids and plus I'm way to addicted to facebook. Logan has been such an awesome baby. When I first brought him home he only woke up once a night but after about 4-7 hours of sleep. Now at 2 1/2 months he sleeps about 8-11 hours at night before waking up to eat and then going back to sleep again. I love it. Jeffery was like that too. He only woke up once a night! I'm so blessed to have such great kidos. Jeffery absolutely loves his little brother. He hugs and kisses him all the time. He even holds him sometimes (with supervision from parents). Logan is growing waaaayyyyy to fast. He's starting to smile ALL the time now and laughs at things. But just in the last 2 days he's starting to FINALLY take an intrest in his toys. He looks at them and laughs and talks to them. He's been doing alot of baby talk in the past 2 days as well. I love it. He is so cute and he makes the cutest little sounds. Jeffery was doing these things at only 1 month so it's weird to me that Logan is doing them a 2 1/2 months. But I guess that's the norm. Logan is about 10 weeks in the picture of him in his Bumbo. He's still a little floppy so I only put him in it for a few minutes to see how he would do and then take some pics. I took him out when his head started to droop.
I can't believe that it is September already. So crazy. Jeffery starts school on Tuesday. Grade 1. It's so crazy that Jeffery is already 6 years old and in grade 1. Where does the time go. This summer flew by wwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy to fast. I didn't do much this summer at all. I mostly stayed home and took care of the kids. I do go swimming in my parents pool a few times and I went to the lake once with some friends. I'm determined that next year will be different. After Christmas we are going to start saving money so we can go on hoildays next summer. And my parents bought a used camper so we get to borrow it to go camping. Whooo hoooo!!! I'm so looking forward to that. I missed out on camping this year. :( but that's ok!!
Anyhow other then all that I havne't been up to much. Things in church just seem to die down for the summer but things are going to be picking back up soon. yeah. And all the new episodes of my tv shows will be starting again. My hubby and me can't wait for Smallville to start. I'm also going to start doing more to get myself into shape. I gained alot of weight when I was preggo with Logan and still alot more after he was born. So once Jeffery starts school I'm going to start going to the gym. And hopefully eating better. I LOVE food ALOT!! So the eating better part is going to be hard. But with God all things are possible!!

Ok sorry it's taken me so long to post this. I've been really busy and when I haven't been busy I've been trying to sleep when I can. My wonderful little baby boy is here. He is soooooo cute. I love him to pieces. On Monday morning of June 18 (which was my due date) at 9am my labour started. And the contractions started and were coming anywhere from 1-5 minutes apart and lasting anywhere from 20 seconds to over a minute. My labour is really weird. It was like that with Jeffery too. So proceeded the next 42&1/2 hours of my life. I had a normal doctor's appointment at 1 so I went to that and he told me to go to the hospital at 5 and get strip done on the fetal monitor. Well I ended up staying in the hospital. The next morning after nothing was progressing he gelled my cervix. Well within seconds my contractions started longer and harder. He come again at lunch time and gelled me again. At this point I wasn't even dialating yet. But having very hard contractions. So we prayed and prayed and walked and walked some more. He come again at night and I still wasn't even starting to dialate very depressing. This is now Tuesday at 8pm. He said they weren't going to put me on the drip until 8am the next morning. He left and I bawled my head off and prayed some more. Finally at 11pm I lost my mucus plug and I started having very, very bad contraction. My mom (who had to work the next day) came down at midnight and at 1 the doctor was called back because I was having pushing contractions but not ready to push yet. So he broke my water and that relieved sooo much pain. But it didn't take long for it to come back in full force. But I was only 4-5 centimeters dialated. By 3 am I was clenching the side of the bed trying NOT to push. I made I mom get the nurse. My mom said the nurse couldn't do anything just tell me how to breath. So the nurse came in and looked between my legs. I was laying on my side. And then went and called the doctor. About a minute later I rolled onto my back and within another minute and one push Logan came out onto the bed at the exact same time the doctor walked into the room. So my baby boy was born at 3:24am on June 20,2007. Weighing 9 pounds 2 oz. and 21 inches long. My mom and Scott were with me for the delivery and as it turns out my dad was at the hospital wainting outside in the little waiting room. So he got to see him right after he was born. Very exciting!! Jeffery came down the next morning right after school and he LOVES his baby brother. And Logan like him too. He's always looking at Jeffery when he's in the room. Jeffery stayed at my sister's house from Monday afternoon until Thursday and then he spent Thursday night with my parents. I got home from the hospital on Friday morning. So Jeffery came home Friday afternoon. Anyhow I have to get going. God bless you all.

39 Weeks and counting!!!!

OK so I'm officially 39 weeks. I soooo can't wait to have this baby. I've just been finishing up some last minute things for him. I can have him anytime. I had another ultrasound on Thursday (June 7) and I'm still having a boy. lol. Everything looks good to go. The baby is dropped way down just waiting to come out. I'm going through that impatient stage. Very restless. But it's all sooo worth it. Jeffery's getting excited and impatient too. I'm not sure who wants me to have the baby more - myself or Jeffery!!! The ultrasound showed that he weighed about 8 lbs. 6 oz and is only getting bigger. I'm told if I wait another week he could be over 9 pounds. I'm not worried about his size as far as delivery goes but if he stays in there I think he might explode out the front of my tummy. He's quite an active one. Anyhow it's very late and night and I'm sooooo tired. I just thought I would post a quick update on the baby thing. God bless all!!!!

Ok so 2 days ago it was 26 degrees C in my backyard. My sister in law and my nephew Joshua came over for a visit. Jeffery and Joshua played while me and Tracee sat and drank ice cold iced tea. It was soooo awesome. Jeffery got a swing set a few days ago. It's used but in really great shape and a guy that Scott works with just gave it to us. Yeah! I've been wanting to get Jeffery one for 3 years and God provided yahoo. Anyway it was sooo gorgous outside. That evening we were at t-ball parctice and it was soo hot. 4 days before we were at practice and I was wearing my winter coat and wrapped in a blanket. It was windy and very chilly sitting in the wind. Not last time. Anyhow the last 2 days it's been pouring rain. Yuck. Yesterday the sun did break through for about half an hour but then it rained again. And today I had to turn my furnace back on. It was off for 4 days. We have t-ball practice again tonight if it's not concelled because of the weather!! lol I really don't want to be sitting on wet bleachers in the rain getting wet from both sides. Double yuck!!! ok so it's just a small update. Not much has been happening around here. I only have 4 1/2 weeks left until my due date. To be more techinical exactly 1 month from tomorrow. Yepee yahoo!!!!!!! This preganacy went by fast but I'm getting really uncomfortable. I'm at that stage where I'm having a hard time sleeping at night. I also feel like he's just going to burst out the front of my stomach!! lol But it's all good. Take care all and God bless!! I'll keep more updated as it gets closer to baby time!!!

Today I took Jeffery to the carnival. We had a blast. I knew it was coming so I saved up some money and we both got wristbands. Scott had to work night shift so he was sleeping and then he was at work. He did surprise us and show up for about 10 minutes on his way to work. He came by to score some mini-donuts. Because everyone knows that the carnival has the BEST MOST AWESOMEST mini-donuts ever!!! Anyway back to me and the kido... We had so much fun. I had a hard time on some of the rides because the safety bars would dig into my extremey big preggo tummy. lol ok so it only did that on 3 rides. I only went on 4. lol. But I went on them lots. I went on the bumper cars, rockin tug boat, merry-go-round, and the farris wheel. But I went on them LOTS!!! Jeffery went on tons of rides. But he was going on by himself. We also ran into some of his friends down there so he went on rides with them. And then after we were there for awhile my bro and my sis in law brought my nephew Joshua down so Jeffery went on tons of rides with him. Then they left and me and Jeffery stayed until 8:30pm. We got down there at 3:30pm so we were down there for 5 streight hours. Wow!!! I was soooo tired when I got home. But lucky for me they had TONS of benches everywhere so I did get to sit down alot. So that was a good thing. Yeah!!! Jeffery was soooo tired when we got home. I cleaned him up and read him a story and he crashed on my bed. Mind you it was already over an hour past his bedtime!!! Anyhow it was great. I'm gald we got to do something really exciting and special together just me and him before the new baby is born. And now I have to be heading to beddy. I would go into details of the rides and games and such.. and all the prizes Jeffery won... but I'm beat. so nighty night to all you peeps in blogger land!!!!!!!!!!! God bless!!!!

32.5 Weeks and counting!!!!

OK so I've been feeling very huge and very,very uncomfortable. I am bigger right now that I was when I was 9 months with Jeffery. Everyone keeps telling me I don't look that big and I don't, but I know the baby is big. Because I can feel him. Today at my doctor's appointment everything was great. He confirmed that I am having a big baby. And that I must be very uncomfortable right now. He didn't think that I looked big enough to be 32 weeks but when he pressed on my tummy and felt the baby he actually got a bit concerned. Everything is okie dokie but yeah doc confirmed - it's another big boy - if not bigger. But I'm happy. We are getting lots of things together for the big day. I still have 8 weeks left!! But that's not very long. I was up really late last night doing TONS of baby laundry. It was all clean but I wanted to freshen it up because it's been in storage for over 4 years. I still have a bit more to do but other than that all we need is a dresser and car seat which we are getting in 2 weeks and then we are READY!!!!!!! Yeah I can't wait. Sometimes he presses so hard on my belly that I think he's going to pop out the front. Kinda like in the movie Alein. Which I never saw but heard about!! OK anyhow I'm going to get going I just thought I would post a baby update. God bless you all.

What An Awesome Day!!!!

Today was such a good day. We got up and the sky was blue and the sun was shining. We went into Terrace today. We were able to pick up a bunch of stuff that wev'e been needing to get. We also got a new crib mattress and a new winnie-the-pooh blanket set with bumper pads. On the way back we went to the hot springs. I haven't taken Jeffery there in 3 years!!! He had a blast. He went down the big slides with Scott and then he went down the turtle slides by himself. Then he got a life jacket on and decided that he was a big boy and went down the big slides all by himself. He went down tons of times. I was waiting at the bottom to grab him right away. In between all the going down the slides we also had alot of fun in the pool. When we got home we set up the crib stuff. And then we sat outside for a bit and enjoyed the nice weather. We were able to set up our gazeebo yesterday. So that was nice. Scott and Jeffery also played some baseball for a bit. The baby's room is coming together so nicely. I'm getting really excited. We've been doing alot of work around here bouncing back and forth from the backyard to the baby's room. We also finally got our cabinet and bookcase from Canadian Tire so now we can finally finish unpacking our living room as well. Ok well it was a great day and I'm tired so I'm going to go now. Spring Has FINALLY Sprung!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I'm so happy. The last few days have been so nice outside. We've actually had sunshine that was warm. And the snow is completely gone from our yard so that makes Scott happy. He spent most of the day outsdie raking the yard yesterday. Jeffery helped too. Lol. Actually we were all outside yesterday in our t-shirts. It was great. Today we went and got our patio stuff from the shed at my mom's house. So tomorrow we will probably be setting up the gazeebo. Double yeah. It did rain alittle last night but was nice and sunny again today. But some black clouds did pass over and we got a nice warm rain shower with some thunder. And it made the air smell so nice and summery. But then the sun came out again. Today we also got the crib and change table from my parents garage and we set up the crib. Now I just have to wash them down and wash all the baby blankets and clothes. We've been working on the baby's room for the last few days. FINALLY!!! I can't wait until it's all done. It's going to look so nice.

So last week it was my birthday and everyone was either doing church things or working so we didn't do anything for it. Well my awesome hubby Scott had a suprise party for me on Tuesday. I was sooo happy and yes I was suprised. So that was really nice. And today we came home from being out and there was a dozen red roses on our doorstep. It turned out they were from some friends of ours that were invited but were unable to come. I was happy again.

So we have a lot going on with getting the yard all set up and getting the baby's room together. We still have to buy a crib mattress and a car seat. I did give my other ones away. And another friend of ours gave us their bassinet. That was cool. I thought I was going to buy it off them but they just gave it to us. God is just sending the smallest things to bless us the in biggest ways. It's so cool. Anyhow I gotta get going. It's my mommy's birthday tomorrow and I have to take her cake out of the oven. Good Day!!

Today was crazy to start with. It was snowing - again!! But then it stopped and melted really fast. I had my 30 week checkup at the doctor's today. Everythings good. But I'm carrying him really, really low so there's alot of pressure on my cervix. But it was like that with Jeffery too. Anyhow.. After the appointment we went into Terrace to pick some stuff up. And we got to go to DQ I was sooooo happy so was Jeffery. We used to go to the DQ here about once a month but they've been closed for awhile now. (Opening again soon) Due to a grill fire. And we picked up some stuf at Wal*mart. Scott got me my birthday presents at Canadian Tire. As it is my 28th B-day tomorrow. Crazy huh!!! Then by the time we got home it was sooo nice outside I wanted to go outside for a walk but it was Jeffery's bedtime!!! So it turned out to be a really good day.

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you all enjoy your day. Don't forget that this is the day that we remember that Jesus not only died on the cross but also ROSE FROM THE DEAD!! Oh and some awesome news. On the night of Good Friday Jeffery asked Jesus into his heart. I'm so happy. Daddy was putting him to bed and he started to ask daddy to pray from him to have good dreams and to not be afraid. Scott then took it a step farther and talked to Jeffery about some spiritual things (Jeffery's always asking questions about God and the Bible) and Jeffery asked Jesus to forgive him and to come and live in his heart. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!! OK so it's really late and I have a big day tomorrow. Church in the morning, easter egg hunt in the afternoon, and church easter dinner in the evening. Yeah. The family dinner is going to be on Monday. Can't wait for that I love turkey dinners!!! God bless you all and have a great Easter Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!
